Photographed in a home made light tent with a Nikon PB-6 bellows and 50mm f/1.4 AIS Nikkor reversed. Magnification was about 3x on the sensor. Depth of field was only a fraction of a millimeter and I should have photostacked this one, but it time consuming with a bellows. The fly was placed in the fridge for about 20 minutes but it did not slow it down for very long. About 5 seconds after I took this image, it warmed up and flew away.
