It's light and produces L-series results at a fraction of the price. I tend to use a Circular Polarizer (HOYA 'FUSION' (EVO) series) for daylight shots. I certainly get great results from several other EF-M lenses but I went out of my way to obtain this one the moment it was released and it's nailed more 'keepers' than anything else I've used in 15 years.
