Would anyone care to speculate on what is going to happen with the prices of Sony cameras now that they have announced some new models? Will prices of older models go down or stay the same..or ???

Prices have dropped pretty good on the R3 and original a9.

I haven't seen the prices, but I hear the Sony A7RIII has dropped pretty good in price. However the Sony A9 has dropped, but not as much as a lot of people don't consider the Sony A9II that much of an upgrade.

Apparently, the original a9 is being propped up a little by the mk2 not exciting everyone as expected.
