Rose-crowned fruit-dove, Ptilinopus regina. Wikipedia describes them as widespread and common but I've always understood them to be quite rare, at least in my region. Certainly I've seen them in the wild only very rarely and I spend a lot of time in the monsoon forests in which they live. Anyway I took this photo a week ago and had no idea what they were because they were totally silhouetted against the bright morning sky. I just opened it up now and was astonished when I lifted the shadows and realised what they were. Not a great photo but I've never even been close to one before.
