I don't even use my current gear to it's fullest potential, and I always feel like I need more stuff. I don't. Kris

They also mark a bit of a departure from my own usual editing style. Generally I stick to the color palette given to me by the scene, but I decided to try adding some flare to these by playing around with some subtle color shifts in Capture One. I like the result and I hope to continue experimenting to find other distinctive looks that go well with my photography. I also wanted to say that there’s so much you can do with a speedlight. I usually employ my XPLOR 600 for on location portrait shoots, but on a heavily clouded day you can use a speedlight and a small soft box to create some soft fill and make the catch lights really pop. I want to try doing some before and after examples to really show off how little power you need to achieve a flattering look. Camera: Canon 5D MK IV Lens: Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8L II USM @ 35mm and 70mm Light: Flashpoint Zoom Li-On TTL modified by Glow Strip Softbox, camera right @ 1/16th power Triggered by Flashpoint R2 Pro 2.4GHz Transmitter. Shutter: 1/100 Aperture: f/4 ISO: 100 RAW development in Capture One Pro and retouching in Photoshop. NickS
