Thanks, Klaus, I don't see them very often and never before seen the two together.

Has anyone used their M50 for astrophotography? I’m curious as well if pairing a Viltrox speed booster with something like a Rokinon 14 (EF mount) would yield any benefits, or image degradation. I’m guessing that although a Sigma 18-35 will mount to the speed booster, there are no benefits as it’s an aps-c lens?

I may be a little crazy, but kicking around the idea of moving to this as my 2nd body in lieu of my current 6D2. After hauling around crop and FF gear for air shows and hikes (I regretted hiking with 2 bodies and 4 lenses for an Astro outing in Arches NP), and a couple of other reasons, I’m considering simplifying things a bit.

I was wondering the same thing about astro but I think it's too limited. There's no way to attach an intervalometer to it for one thing but it might be OK for some wide-angle single images of, say, the Northern Lights, or even the Milky Way. I'll be interested to read the responses.

My nterest is with single image use as that’s pretty much what I’ve done to this point. There are a substantial amount of impressive images in this thread.
