This shot caught my attention, and it brought me to your website. I like what I see there. I especially like your street photos from Hong Kong. I was lucky enough to spend a few days in Hong Kong a few years ago; it made a big impression on me. It wasn't just the city itself that impressed me, it was the people. Your photos remind me of that brief time in my life.

If you are in Hong Kong right now, I hope that the recent troubles have left you unscathed. I hope that Hong Kong returns to peaceful prosperity soon.

This size does not show the detail in this image shot with the RF 24-240. It is best viewed in the sunglasses preview button or better at full res by following the link.

I think this may be my best so far... It's hard to choose as I love BW photography. But this to me shows a lot of emotion, so to date... This is what I consider my best.

Thanks Dillan. Really glad you liked Hong Kong and it's people and that my work brought that back for you. It is really the point of my street work, a celebration of of the loacl everyday life that goes on in the streets and alleyways between the Steel and Glass.

If you are in Hong Kong right now, I hope that the recent troubles have left you unscathed. I hope that Hong Kong returns to peaceful prosperity soon.

Thanks, all good here. While the situation on the "front line" is serious the rest of Hong Kong goes on mostly as normal. The vast majority of the protesters are peaceful but the media tends to focus on the thin line of police/protester interaction. Sadly the real problem is the government's refusal to engage - until they do this thing will drag on.
