I don't shoot much 35mm film, but I shot a roll through my Elan 7 for a change of pace. These were taken on Delta 400.

So I sent a few rolls out to Northeast Photographic, and the results I got were better than the Darkroom, however, I got a note saying 'two of your rolls were blank.' I've never had a blank roll, and somehow I had two this time? I'm not convinced, but there's nothing I can do now. I want to try a couple more labs, but I would use these guys again.

GA645i, Velvia 100 and the pop-up flash.

I know I shouldn't shoot people with Velvia, but I kind of dig the look. It's unique alright!

I did save my pennies for a new medium format camera, but I decided that I have enough cameras and booked a 2 week trip back to Mexico City.

You have me tempted to pick up a Holga now ... I've been wanting to shoot some 6x6 for a while now.

I am awaiting the arrival of a scanner. I found a second-hand Epson V600 for about half price and decided to go for that even though I mostly shoot 35mm. The price was right and I always have two local labs for any serious scanning needs. At the moment I just need something for sharing work online and I reckon the V600 will meet my needs, at least at first.

Also, moving to a more spacious flat after Christmas which I intend to fill with a developing tank and chemicals ... my partner has been warned already. :rolleyes:

If you can pick up a Holga for $20, I'd say do it. Definitely not worth more than $20. I just developed my first roll from it and it's not something I'll shoot with often. Still fun though. As far as scanners go, you'll be fine with the v600 with 35mm film for just praying in the web. I use a v550 with no problems. The film holders are garbage though.

First shots from my Holga 120N. I'm going to mess around with it a bit more. I shot Arista edu 400 and I'm definitely not a fan of the film. I'm going back to my Delta 100, 400 and 3200.
