You sure do get some beautifully diverse landscapes. Gilligan's Island must be quite the place.

Fall showed up finally...and then quickly departed...managed to get up to GSMNP to catch the tail end of it...one of the many long running cascades on Lynn Camp Prong...usually this is pretty dry and free of whitewater...after a week of rain it was raging...parts of it were moving so fast I am sure it would knock you out.

Problem with your image load. I see it's fixed.

I know that place well, I think I posted an image of it I took spring two years ago just recently.

I hear you, I sort of had this weekend scheduled to make a run up there and things just didn't work out for me from a timing standpoint. I felt pretty lucky to get out for a while yesterday morning. All the leaves were down for the most part, but a few trees had some color..... forest floor was pretty colorful.
