Finally received my Sigma 56 f1.4 EF-M yesterday these are the first 2 images taken with the M6 MK II not interesting subject matter but I wanted to see what it could do wide open at 1.4 and I have to say it is going to give the Canon EF-M 32 f1.4 a run for it's money these is going to be a very fun lens

I upgraded? With the size and weight difference it doesn't exactly feel like an upgrade, lol.

Was looking to move to a 7D2, but got too good of an offer to pass up on this M6 Mark II. So far I love it.

Okay, Got outside today with the kiddos. Nothing special, but having fun. Not having a viewfinder is weird, but I don't necessarily think bad. Just something I'm not used to.

I was able to get out for sunrise this morning, and while I took a few shots with my 5D IV, I decided it was time to test the M6 Mark II in more of a real use situation (at least for me). I have a business trip coming up next week and hope to get some time for a skyline or something.

In any event, I spent some time shooting sunrise among other things this morning. Overall I'm pretty impressed, seems to have plenty of shadow recovery even shooting into strong light. I didn't use filters of any kind as I don't have an adapter ring for the lenses yet, otherwise I would have probably used an ND for this shot to smooth out the water a bit more. I did some composing using the rear LCD and it seems to work well although a little uncomfortable for me due to not usually doing it this way.

This is a quick edit of one of the shots I took, using my office computer. I'll probably dress it up a bit more when I'm sitting in front of my proper work station.

Had a great fun shooting G/N the other day. The 15-45mm gets really close, I have face recognition, accurate exposure, high ISO and touch shutter. I miss the viewfinder but when shooting close it is better with the LCD at arms length.

I feel like I know this place. If I'm not mistaken, you came pretty close to my home... Nice composition.

Another one with the M50 and 15-45
