They would eat out of the hand. Stellar's Jay's are like Blue Jays and really like the shelled peanuts. The Mexican Jays came in for broken up pieces of bread. The Canada Jay (formerly Grey Jay) never really came into land for anything but flitted around close enough to camp to image.
