I just got back from my annual trip to Klamath. Now I have several thousand files to go through. I still seem to have trouble with getting clear bald eagle shots -?

Thanks, now added to my shopping list. :-)

In Florida we imaged Florida Scrub Jays with sunflower seeds. They would eat out of the hand.
Stellar's Jay's are like Blue Jays and really like the shelled peanuts. The Mexican Jays came in
for broken up pieces of bread. The Canada Jay (formerly Grey Jay) never really came into land
for anything but flitted around close enough to camp to image.

Started assembling the new dropper system. Will require a trip to Lowes since I'm combing the 3 drop system
and the shoot from below system....all Chinese import stuff (MJKZZ) and the translation is not quite there.
And I had a couple of helpers :)
And an excuse to use the E 16-55G. Love this lens, and as some of you know (Bill in Texas) I also received.....then promptly, within 2 hours,
shipped back, the E 70-350G. Just a bad copy and I will try again but some serious family health issues popped up (Poof had a CAT scan/surgery tomorrow).

I'd hope to try again for M33 (Triangulum), was doing the polar align it wasn't working (Ioptron's i-polar app); finally looked up and the sky was full of clouds! Ha!
Imagine that. So inside to work on the new splash rig.

Using the a6400+E16-55G, animal eye AF killer!

Milo (the 30 pound Maine Coon in the first, Squid the pound rescue in the 2cd. Could not find Skidder-the feral adoptee for the shoot).

Looks like I have some experimenting to do to discover what works best in my back yard.

Best wishes to Poof and here's hoping everything goes well for her today.

I stopped by McArthur–Burney Falls Memorial State Park on the way home from Klamath Falls and put my R4 and 24-105 to work.

Decided to pull out the strobe today and get the rust off my skills in that area. A shot of the wife and her friend down at the park.
