Thank you Eddie. Today we hiked 30 minutes away from our home. There are some great areas to hike around here including Red Rocks.

I popped out Saturday morning to an area about 2.5 miles from home & less than half a mile from my mum's & my work. I sometimes drive up the link road after work to the gym & there are some lovely colours each side of the road & some gnarly looking trees. It is quite messy though. Anyway, I found some lovely little scenes to edit & will certainly be going back with more frost, snow or fog!!

for the Tammy 17-28 barrel distortion issue, i looked up the dropdown list of Tamron lens profiles in lightroom and it seems the Tamron SP 28-75mm F2.8 Di A09N seems to solved the issue.

Anyway for all the A7RIV owners, can you confirm it does not have in-camera HDR? I tried to find it for a certain use but somehow I can't find it. I'm in jpeg already.

I tried something a little different for a shoot tonight...this bench had a great view...while I like it...I wish I had put him in the middle, daughter on one side and his wife on the other...hindsight...

Decided to pull out the strobe today and get the rust off my skills in that area. A shot of the wife and her friend down at the park.

Yes, it does. Fn menu, go to drive mode and select. Scroll down to 'BRK' C or 'BRK S and use right/left to select EV spacing and number of exposures. I would use BRK C for continuous so one push of the shutter fires all exposures automatically. I'd have to look to see how to enable a time delay on shutter press though. It is there though.

I know it seems criminal to shoot fall color and then convert to black and white...but this particular scene was a little muted on the color and it looked better to my eye in black and white. I am headed back this weekend, and will probably focus on black and whites if the color in the trees is all gone.

I bring my softbox with me on most outdoor shoots. I don't really have a preference as to whether I use it or not....it depends on the goal/purpose of the photo.

Great shot. I actually like the posing. You can’t really tell the ages and this actually makes more of an inference that it’s a mother and daughter instead of sister-wives.

Edit: It kind of looks like 2 daughters even...
