Liverpool Metropolitan and Liverpool Anglican Cathedrals .

When you look at these to building it's can be a surprise to find they were finish within 15 years of each other.

Thanks Stan. It's true that the elegance of the cathedral is emphasised by the blandness of the modern buildings around it.
