Stephen, this shot just grabs my gut and makes me say "WOW!"

I can't even define exactly why, but this really grabs my attention in a big way.

Bodie Island Lighthouse in the North Carolina Outer Banks - one of my favorite spots to shoot the Milky Way. Took this about a month ago on the night of the New Moon.

One from the film camp. Double exposure on Kodak 64T 4x5 film using masks. 3 hour manually guided sky exposure w/ a Losmandy equatorial mount. The landscape was exposed separately on the same sheet of film. I used a rotating mask to prevent stars creeping into the landscape. Arca-Swiss 4x5 camera.
