Still haven’t had much chance to use my copy, but these shots are reinforcing my decision to buy this lens. I am Committed too it now and have sold my RF 24-105mm. Hopefully I will start adding more to this thread soon.
Understood. So far it is better than the EF 28-300L in every way but three. I miss the 241-300 range. I wish it was weather sealed. The CA is stronger at the wide end and visible in the EVF when zoomed in, but it is still controllable.
The vignetting people are ranting about at 24 when you turn off the profile in Lr is a non-issue for me. When a person turns off the profile, they've made the choice to see the vignette and compensate on their own. But contrary to those ranting, nothing is actually lost using the profile. The frame seen in the EVF at 24 is exactly what is seen in Lr.
