Glad you laughed, Robert.
I made crème brûlée from scratch: basically using this recipe (external link), sprinkled with sugar and torched to caramelize the sugar before serving. It was divine. Don't put it under broiler, just torch it and spill the liquid caramel evenly over the entire surface. Let sit a few minutes. Tap with a spoon; it should be glass hard. Consume immediately. If you make more than you can eat, always torch before serving. Caramelized sugar doesn't hold up well. Enjoy.

Is it just me or is the gear database way behind? It probably doesn't help that there has been a plethora of new cameras and lenses come out recently.

It’s not just you. I’ve given up on it now, the request thread for getting things added just doesn’t work, I’ve requested a good few things now and they haven’t been added. Also, since everyone just uses the closest thing they can find so that they can get their images in their galleries it’s now at the point where there must be thousands of incorrectly tagged photos. It’s not as if anyone goes back later and amends when the correct gear is added so what’s the point?

My sentiment for a few years now, the system as it is now, not sustainable. I ended up erasing my proper gear list, no point having inaccurate gear. I’ll just mention gear instead.

My wife was patient enough to let me pull out the strobe and take a few photos this evening.

I was looking at the A6600. I thought it's the most stupid camera Sony released. 1. old sensor 2. 1 UHS-I SD Card and on the battery compartment 3.

They call it "flagship" and the only new about it are the bigger grip, bigger battery, and one additional customizable button and removed the pop-up flash.
