Rented a Canon 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II for this weekend since the $1800 price tag is just too much for me right now. It was delivered today and I took it out to the woods, still no sign of Big Boy but I did see some familiar faces.

Saw one of the 10 ptrs out just taking a stroll in a field all alone, then I saw this poor young 4 or 6 pointer who looks like he got himself in some trouble with another buck, you can see his wound on his rear leg.

I usually save my shutter clicks for the big boys, like the one above, but I couldn't resist the colors this little lady presented me today!

That guy is a monster, and a great shot of him.

This one, not so much, maybe someday.

.
He sure is a great buck, Terry!

When I estimate every point and add 'em all together, I'm getting a gross score of 177. . Freaking huge!

That G-4 on his left side may be the longest, heaviest G-4 I've seen on a Whitey in a long, long time.

.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".
