Sounds like a nice machine. I really love working on pictures in 4K resolution. It’s much easier to see what your doing and how any changes look at close to 100%.

The clouds were moving quickly during sunset. This was shot during early blue hour. Windows doesnt recognize them because they were converted to apfs at some point and can no longer be read on anything but a mac! 9TB of data locked into apple's ecosystem! I found some work around that allow windows to read apfs drives, but it doesnt work on all my drives for some reason, and the read speeds are horrendously slow on the ones that do. I'm pretty pissed to be honest. Done with apple as a company. They're corrupt AF IMO. Is your Mac dead? Find one you can use to transfer the files to an NTFS (or whatever Microsoft is using) drive. I believe (though now I will check) the only drives I make APFS are the boot drives. All my external drives are still more universal. Canon EOS M6 Mark II - EOS R5

Unfortunately, the one time I visited, the train that travels along the river at the bottom of the gorge was not running. Here's a shot I took from the bridge at the top of the gorge. Hopefully, the size of the tracks gives some idea as to the scale here. ![]() Wow, looks like a great place to explore. Thanks Gene. Oh, Red Rocks is in Morrison, CO which is close to Denver. I'm only 30 minutes from the red rocks. Thanks Jeff. Lyndön wrote in post #18968751 Same here, I’ve always heard that one was the king and the one with the rounded “crown” was the queen. Thanks! --------------- I've been behind on editing some cityscape shots so that's the reason for the past few posts with buildings in them. This scene is from Chattanooga looking back at one of two pedestrian bridges. I tried to use the anchored boats as a leading line to the bridge. I edited this one in DxO PhotoLab. I may upgrade the latest version. I really liked how the application handled the darker tones in this image. FE 16-35 GM ![]() Wow! Look at all the diamonds! flickr

I was a bit surprised after having the 100-400 and not having any issues with its MFD. For the 200-600, the Minimum Focus Distance is 7.87' / 2.4 m whereas on the 100-400, its 3.22' / 0.98 m. Yep, you can do psuedo macro on the 100400.....way more painful on the 200600. flickr

It doesnt have to be that way, my external is using exfat and all of my final cut projects sit on that drive. In the end, anything that touches any of my laptops are just staging grounds for my NAS. Not a lot of data I can lose. When I'm on travel and I want immediate backup, I use the cloudstation app, and it's like an unlimited dropbox (limited to my 10TB NAS).
