For those interested in the technical stuff this is a single RAW file processed in Lightroom using a combination of tone curve adjustments and dodging/burning with white balance/tint.

I wouldn't know since I haven't been there for 45 years but I've read that the stupa had suffered from major cracks in the last quake and was renovated in 2016.
