I have had another go at one of mine finding that fine balance between sharpening and halos/artifacts, I have also reduced the output sharpening from lightroom from standard to low.

Heya,

70% Waxing Gibbous tonight, so some interesting features near the terminator, including a floating wall around sinus iridum and a nice flat but contrasty view of copernicus and tycho.

First photo with my Kenko 2X at 500mm ISO 800 1/400s f6.3

second image with my Kenko 3X at 403mm
(500mm was too large over filling my LCD screen) ISO 1600 1/250s f6.3

What are your thoughts?
