A bit of a fun shoot with my son after his graduation yesterday. Sorted out a background with a few equations (he did maths) and gave him a pair of my glasses for that nerd look! Two lights. Background barn doors. On James tall light box with grid. Camera is a 90d. l like the gritty detail look so pulled that though a little, though I did a softer more serious shot for his gran.

Tell me again why I have to shoot with a GFX100 , every time I use this 'little' crop sensor under lights I have that thought. There's about one or so jobs a month where I'd need the higher resolution. Really like the new sensor for these kind of shots.
One pass through Capture One Pro Fuji to convert the raw, for colouring and DAM of course, no photoshop done yet but looks almost ready to me.

Nice shot overall. I would offer some constructive criticism... I feel as though your skin looks too orange. I would lower the orange saturation slider within Lightroom and see how it looks. Also, I think it would be beneficial to clean up the beard hairs on the left side of your face as well to make it a more polished image. The lighting looks great though, btw!

Beautifully captured and I love the triangular catchlights in her eyes. Do you use any additional lights aside from those three, or just take advantage of the light bouncing off the background as a rim light?

I think it's a great shot, except for the face so yellow and saturated.
