I think that a better place to look for answers would be the Adobe community. This seems like a good start: https://community.adobe.com …p-Community/td-p/10662297 (external link)

Lightroom 2.4.1 and later versions work with macOS 10.15 (Catalina) but have these known compatibility issues (external link). You may want to remain on your current version of macOS until these issues have been resolved.

I'd be more worried about legacy products that use 32bit programs. I still haven't upgraded because I have a few programs I use that will be useless since there isn't a 32bit version still.

I don't use Lightroom, but I upgraded to Catalina a few weeks ago and PS 2020 and Bridge are working just fine with no issues whatsoever.

I just bought my first MacBook Pro not too long ago, and wasn't worried about older software (as being a previous strictly PC user, I figured I'd just be using my subscription apps). Since the time of this post, there has been more incremental updates with Catalina and PS/Lightroom. I haven't run into any problems with them.

When I first was setting up the Mac, I did run into an issue of signing into the new Apple TV, Music, and Podcast apps (that replace iTunes). I did see in forums that there were quite a few 10.15.1 users were having this issue. The fix was interdependently signing out of iCloud and deleting cache from Terminal commands. There has been an OS update since: don't know if it addressed this issue. And then I also like to calibrate all my monitors, and did run into an older 32bit app issue: had a X-Rite colormonki: which they indicated they'll never support Catalina. It forced me, but was a good excuse to get an X-Rite iDisplay Plus (that also supports HDR, which I can also use with my OLED TV).

A bit late now, but as long as your Adobe software is up-to-date, there's no issue with Catalina at this point.

The larger issue would be with any older plugins or utilities, if you have any floating around.

Citrix is platform independent way of running enterprise software for work, financial, medical, imaging etc, but if an OS is changed, like Mac OS it can cause issues with Citrix and Citrix still has no fixed all the bugs.

I updated my iMac and my MacBook Pro to Catalina, I lasted maybe a week before going back to Mojave, I really didn't like it, my photo apps and stuff still worked but a couple of things didn't that I need so went back, and won't be updating again.

My only issue is with MyHarmony from Logitech. So I left my iMac on Mojave as I tweak my remote controls quite often. My laptop is fine on Catalina.

Not sure if your remote is compatible...but these days, I do my Harmony programming (of Hub) with their smart phone app.

I do as well. But its so much more intuitive on the desktop version. I too have the hub, companion, 700 and 650.
