That being said, I have to respectfully disagree with you. Now I don't know what all was available in the scene but I feel your selection was perfect for this particular composition. In some ways I feel you and I have a similar "eye" and I definitely would have gone after this.

Thank you. The lighting was from street lights just off camera as it was around 6 AM on January 1st. Usually this area is crowded with hundreds of people, so an unobstructed view is unusual.

At first glance I thought I was looking down a mine shaft or deep stair well until I realized it was a home vestibule. Well played!!

Nothing special. A night time shot I hoped would make a good B&W. A little PP to bring out the shadows, etc. Always looking for leading lines and trying to get images to tell a story.
