A Wow from me too.
Quite stunning. Colours, vibrance. Very nice.
Probably dumb question, but curious if these are raw or jpeg.

It really is a nice lens. How have you been enjoying your Z6?

Thanks!

Hi Richard,
Thank you. I shot them in RAW and converted them to jpgs.
Thank

I've been enjoying it a lot. The 2+stops of high ISO quality over the D4 has been great and the flexibility and near-native operation with F mount lenses has made this mirrorless experience much better for me than when I had the A7R five years ago.

Looks like the announcement is only talking about CFExpress (firmware only) and ProResRAW (needs a trip back to Nikon for a paid upgrade to the body). No mention in the announcement about AF upgrades but there might be tweaks

Yea... I was hoping for more. Perhaps I should just curb my hopes & then when it happens be pleasantly surprised. Lol!

Sounds like a good approach

Not that I have much reason to complain about how well my Z6 does. I might have had a relatively dud D4 but this body rarely, if ever, has me feeling disappointed on the AF side of things

Santa brought a new 50mm 1.8 S lens.

Now I understand the excitement folks experience when first trying one of these. It's a killer lens! :)

Great images.

Good to hear that the 50/1.8 S is a good lens. I don't think I'll be getting it as I still have a Sigma 50 Art which on the Z6 still does a fantastic job (so no need to upgrade) but still good to know the native option is well worth the time

Something different!

Hope Momma isn't regretting getting me the 50s lens from Xmas. With it, on the Z6, I harassed her all morning while she made our Xmas meal.

Never considered food photog, so I was just a basic goober getting in the way of everything. It sure is nice that the 50s is a 1.8 lens, so light was no issue.

All shot with Z6 & NIKKOR Z 50mm f/1.8 S.
