.
This is Common Teasel, Dipsacus fullonum.

Teasel is non-native to the United States, but has naturalized in many areas, and is abundant in one of my favorite deer photography spots.

The seed head's structure is very interesting and attractive. . Sometimes, I spend countless minutes photographing teasel seedheads when I should be searching for deer

Although it is non-native, teasel is widely used by wildlife and birds. . I have seen Whitetail Deer, Bison, Pheasants, and Downy Woodpeckers feeding on the tiny seeds that reside within the prickly structure.

I once collected a few hundred of the tiny seeds, brought them home, and tried to grow them in my yard (yeah, I know this may be unlawful, but am unconcerned about that). . Sadly, no plants ever came up where I had sown the seeds. . I'm sure there are steps that must be taken to get them to germinate. . I didn't know what to do, so I just scattered them on the ground. . I figured that's what happens in nature, and they come up okay, so why wouldn't it work in my yard?

Oh well ..... I have digressed.

Here is a close-up of a teasel seedhead with a twisty stem, which is unusual. . And then a pic of a big buck using his tongue to coax the tiny seeds out of the spiny structure.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

.

I'm curious why you may be unconcerned about deliberately spreading an invasive weed?
