Grand daughter has expressed an interest in trying photography (what 13 year old doesn't want to play with a camera these days). at least this one won't be built into a phone!
At any rate - I'm picking up the tab for part - but for the rest - she has to work to earn part of it. Thinking that if she works for it - she will appreciate it more.
so I'm looking to find some inexpensive gear to get her started. Figure something simple like an older body and basic kit lenses, maybe the nifty fifty, and see how she does with it. then I can teach her how to save up and incrementally improve her gear as she learns. - should she remain interested.
