Well, it is not hunting or eating, but just some small birds enjoying that I replaced the ice with some warm water in the morning of the year's first day.

Very thoughtful. Obviously rewarded your efforts

Opposite here. I tested our water and it was too hot so put fresh cold in.
I'd watched a bird come dip its head then immediately headed off.

This Juvenile bald eagle was coming to a tree top to have its Kokanee meal.

This Blue Heron flew over me from behind & I was only able to grab a couple shots as he headed off with his meal. Interestingly, I think there may be more than just a fish. Look closely at the last shot.
