I hate you Southern Hemisphere people and your damn skies!

J/K... spectacular shot! Any filters to remove city light pollution?

Haha hi Sam this shot actually bare lens no filter whatsoever!

Been having some weird flare issue with my LP filter appearing on my newly modified 77D that I am trying to investigate so went bare lens on this shot to trying to work out what's causing it (weird because it's appearing on the exact same spot in the image even with different lenses and composition)

Was windy AF so ended up throwing away 2/3 of my subs. In saying that very pleased with 40 minutes of total integration time in Bortle 5 sky!

Jupiter and it's Moons. Photo was taken with Sigma 150-600mm zoom lens and ASI290MC camera at 600mm focal length. Jupiter is totally overexposed because it much brighter than Moons. On second picture I replaced Jupiter (Photoshop) with better shot of the planet just to see how it would look all together.

Thank's awesome Slagrim!

Last night's effort:

Should've been an easy one but ended up taking me so many nights to finally get it right; unexpected bad weather on some and bad subs on others which turned out to be that my 70-200 had zoom creep which was surprising considering the lens zooms internally.

Canon 77D tracked with Star Adventurer with 3 hours of total light frames (90x 2min) in Bortle 5 sky

Nikon D7100, 600mm f/4 ED-IF AIS Nikkor, 2x TC-300. Very little cropping was required

wow, it's been a while. haven't checked this thread since 2016.

had some kinda clear skies so i tried taking some pics of m42 with the new camera.

[IMAGE LINK: https://live.staticflickr.com …31295773_5c0c486cfc_o.jpg (external link)

anyway, this was about 900 1s exposures at ISO 25600 @ 300mm f/5.6 with the sony a9 (and canon 70-300 is usm) on a tripod.

eventually i'm gonna bust out that eq mount and take pics with that eventually, but the last few times have been frustrating and time consuming. hopefully i'll have clear enough skies to properly setup the mount, let alone image with it.

Very nice image! What do you use to align the images?
