Jan 04, 2020 17:58 | #1923 Decided to branch out and try a film camera. Managed to get a Canon AE-1 from ebay very cheap. Shot at ISO 400 but pushed 2 stops to 1600. Ilford HP5 Plus B&W film. Then your eyes finally drop to the lower part of the image and you see the young girl, barefooted, standing on her tippy-toes to give her brother a peck on the forehead. And that kind of tops them all. Thank you, Pekka! I'm sure some members here might have imagined that POTN might begin winding down. But that doesn't make the news any less disappointing. So generous of you to allow us to go along for the ride. As a result you gave us a way to help each other become better photographers. But there's still so much more to learn.
