So loving the new Topaz AL denoise it does an amazing job of killing the noise and smart sharpening - very similar to the lens adjustments tool in DXO where it really sharpens up an image without creating halos.

Going back through some of last years shots with this Wedge Tailed Eagle with European Hare for breakfast.

I spotted this and another bird in a paddock as I was driving along a country highway so pulled off the road in front the paddock Gate.

I managed to get out of the car, assemble the gear - was in the back of the wagon and get off a few shots before they relocated further away from the road into the paddock.

Shooting into the morning light, whilst not ideal, emphasized how dry the landscape was.

Uncropped image.

Very nice job on getting this shot with that low of a shutter-speed and it was coming TOWARDS you! :)
I like it a lot!

Thank you for the nice feedback. It was raining so very cloudy; close to sunset. ISO was already a bit higher then I normally like. So had to keep the shutter slow.

Desire to learn; a camera & a few other things.

Another beauty, Vassilis!

I was in agreement with a previous observation that the last image made the you Owl shot "look like" the Burrowing Owls we have here. In this image, you can clearly see the larger legs (similar to a GHO).

The Burrowing Owls have very thin legs w/o feathers.

Thank you Phil ! As I 've read they are quite similar in size. The little owl prefers to nest in old buildings, tree trunks etc though
