Going back through some of last years shots with this Wedge Tailed Eagle with European Hare for breakfast.

I spotted this and another bird in a paddock as I was driving along a country highway so pulled off the road in front the paddock Gate.

I managed to get out of the car, assemble the gear - was in the back of the wagon and get off a few shots before they relocated further away from the road into the paddock.

Shooting into the morning light, whilst not ideal, emphasized how dry the landscape was.
