I'm not sure as to exactly where these should go? They are 2 of the electrical wall panels in out French house. About 6" long and a complete jar of worms! There's one of these panels, just a few inches off the skirting, in each room!

Kitchen. The small clear box on the right is a relay for the multi switched lights.

The standard wiring is use whatever colour comes to hane and sometimes green/yellow for earth. Don't ask or I will cry -?
