Some more photos of the Boobook Owl family that have been spending the day in trees near work, taken early this morning. The first owl is looking very seriously at the camera... the second one is having a big yawn after realizing that it's just me again... and the third one is fast asleep :)

They are definitely losing interest in photography!

Amazing. Almost like they're sharing each others leg!
You've done many beautiful duck images, this is in the top 5.

Thank you MM4040!

Send over some of that blue sky! Fantastic pose with the EBB.

Thanks MM. Ironically, I crave for some clouds.

The top one is exceptional.
The whole atmosphere associated with that photo is beautiful.

Thank you both!

I've been fighting the flu lately, and decided to spend some time with my photography way-back machine files. Here's a rescued Great Horned Owl from 2016...

Mike
Note: the EXIF info for my recent images shows "Sony FE 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 GM OSS". I'm actually shooting an FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS lens. The POTN gear database needs to be updated.
