My 1DX Mark II has gone down in my estimation though having just had to have the main printed circuit board replaced after just two years and @20000 images at a cost of £559.58! It’s certainly put me off looking at the MK III.

That is a shame. Anything can break regardless of age or use, just a shame it was such an expensive fix. I certainly wouldn't let it put you off getting a MKIII.
