A car that was never sold here, so it's extremely rare. I saw it at a (small) local "Cars and Coffee", which is hosted by an "American Style Diner", so there's a big focus on American cars. The bottom one is a 1946 Auto Union/DKW Monoposto (race car). DKW/Auto Union would later become Audi, some of their cars (like this one) already wore 4 rings (as the "Union" of 4 car makers). It's owned by Mister Harry Lund from Denmark, who still uses it for vintage motorsport. I believe the only changes are modern seatbelts (demanded for safety) and the up-to-date clothing/helmet. Cars like that were what restarted motorsport in Germany after the war. (Car-based Motorsport, Motorbikes were a different (much bigger) affair). Ltdave wrote in post #18989399 1961-1963 Ford Thunderbirds... known as Bullet Birds. 1958-1960 were Square Birds... the B-birds came with a 390cuid (6.4l) engine and in '63 they were available with 3-2barrel carburetors...
