Gone but not forgotten. 2003 Anniversary Edition SVT Mustang Cobra. Ran open track events at Road Atlanta, Little Talladega Raceway, etc. 470 RWHP, and 540 Torque at the tires. Detroit Locker, and Driveshaft Shop half-shafts rated at 1200 FP each side. Bassani exhaust system from mi-length headers all the way back to the 4" tips. Eleven second car at the drags. Loved this car.

It is. Sadly, there has been no info yet on what happens to the Texas. Not open to the public at this time. Talk was it would be taken to Alabama (closest location with dry dock big enough) fir repairs then returned. Much debate where ship will be returned.
Present location? Galveston? Kemah?
Even questions about leaving it where it is and surrounding it with dirt/concrete.
Apparently the structure inside us rotting so bad repairs must be made fairly soon.
The deck (wooden-teak?) is in sad shape also.

I had an 07, after 6 years of abuse + blouch 20g turbo (did 348hp / 344 tq on Cobbs dyno), 3rd gear blew up. Was fun while it lasted!!! If I was going to do it all over, I'd go for the STi version just for the better transmission.

I wish I got the STI, but I’m still very happy with this. Just waiting on the COBB FlexFuel kit to see what I end up with on the dunk!
