I shot this with my Canon IIf rangefinder, at a dealer that specializes in selling classic cars on consignment.

QUOTED IMAGE

Did you take any photo's of the one on the right of it? Looks like a 56-57 Lincoln Mark 7 (I think that's the right name) which is quite rare because they were build by hand rather than on an assembly line. I had a customer who owned a nice low mileage one many years ago.

A skill is developed through constant practice with a passion to improve, not bought.

^^^^Actually it's a Continental MK II. Built by hand by FMCO as you say, but not a Lincoln in that period of time.

Well, I've got this one, taken on a different day with perhaps my most obscure camera, my Komaflex-S (a camera that is rarely found still operational).

In case I'm not the only one who's never heard of it: http://camera-wiki.org/wiki/Komaflex-S (external link)

Also, maybe tell the EXIF-software that you used that camera, it credited the photo to a Nikon.

Ah, a Checker. Used to see a ton of them around, now, not so much.

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

I knew I recognized it, but I couldn't identify it without a prompt, such as yours,
so I thank you!

i wasnt positive it was a Checker. the headlights for sure looked right, but i wasnt certain about the hood ornamentation...

i would have known 100% if i had seen the tail lights...

Didn't Phoebe in the TV show 'Friends" sometimes drive her grandmother's Checker cab
in some episodes?

Checker car company was around quite a while. https://en.wikipedia.org …hecker_Motors_Corporation (external link)
But has been out of business since 1982.
