Thanks. Absolutely stunning landscape and drive. You could pull over just about every 100 yards!

It's the easiest spot to shoot from which means its crowded but the views are out of this world. - Alfredo -

But a short walk away from the crowds means you can get something different and a clean angle with no people...it surely is not a spot to pass up....it is an incredible viewpoint. Website

A little known fact...Often folks think the big pointed rock formation is Zabriskie Point...when in fact, Zabriskie Point is the viewing area, Manly Beacon is the rock formation that everyone is there to see. Wow!

Is it ancient? A lot of work would have gone into that. I like the light highlighting the long grass in the foreground of the top one Yes, a very old cobbled road on the edge of the town near where I live. It used to lead to an old mill/factory a couple of centuries ago and has been left in its original state. The road is a couple of miles long, so a lot of backbreaking labour must have gone in to making it. How times have changed. I'm down there most days with my 5DIV or 80D and am looking forward to Spring when the insects and butterflies will be back there in force. Lots of picturesque wild plants thrive there, too, and there is a fishing lake, too, for bird pics. Thanks for your comments. It's very satisfying to know someone on the other side of the world is interested. Thanks again. It's all about the light...
