I was shooting this owl perched when it took off towards me and of course I was set-up with a slower ss. Fortunately, I think the wing blur actually works for this shot conveying a sense of motion.

I agree with you and the others that have commented, it works. Very nice.

This is a terrific flight portrait of the GBH, Shalu. The sharpness and detail are superb, but his top and bottom bill don't line up properly. I think he could stand to get a set of braces.
