Looks like a Simca? Nice catch. :-)

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

do you remember? few people do it:-P
in Italy once upon a time there were many. Instead, I took this picture in Berlin where Trabant is widespread!

I do remember them. I saw one or two here in The States. I imagine very rare now.

I was crossing the street heading for a cool looking market in god knows what part of the city when a cop car stops me. They don't speak english, I don't speak Spanish. After a lot of back and fourth via google translate, they are trying to tell me that I need my visa and passport on my person at ALL times.....Lol. They put me in the back of their car explaining to me that the migration office will fine me $5,000MX - they drove around the block and parked on some somewhat secluded street. That is when I figured out what was going on. The driver essentially said that I could pay them $1,000 pesos and they wouldn't take me to the migration office - I laughed and told them to take me. After a lot of back and fourth, I gave them $300 and I got to go. Those clowns got me for about $16 USD! Maybe I am not the dumbest gringo they've ever dealt with.

I'm more pissed about this past Sunday - I was dicking around way 'up north' this weekend and got my truck stuck in some snow.... I managed to find someone to pull me out, however, my front bumper is in my trunk in many, many pieces. :-D
2020 is going to be a hell of a year!

Dane - sorry to hear about your experience with corrupt law enforcement in Mexico. It hasn't changed much since I worked down there as a rail road contractor in the 1970's & again in the mid 90s on a trip to Monterrey. We don't go south of the border much anymore. Really diggin' your images from there, though!

It's all good, I certainly didn't let it ruin my trip or even my day. I am actually looking forward to going back a 3rd time - there's so much to see and do!
I appreciate the comments! Thank you.
