Odd couple Pelican and cormorant. The only reason the pelican is so close to the cormorant is that it always tries to rob/steal the fish from cormorant. :-D

Fantastic capture, Shalu. The bill length definitely goes to the pelican. It's gotta be a huge plus when it comes to stealing fish from the cormorants.

These have amazing plumage. We were lucky to have our first visit to South Africa last year. We loved the wildlife and the many colourful birds.
