I was about to say the same thing. In fact, I will. That's a whole heck of a lot of water for Palouse Falls!

Yeah the falls were roaring! Washington recently had a ton of rain, it was really something special to see the falls at flood stage - especially as a lucky first time! We've had this camping trip out to the falls planned for over a month, and what a treat we got!

Thank you very much! Hehe not quite, but definitely looks like a mini grand canyon doesn't it! This is Palouse Falls of Washington State :-D

Steptoe Butte!
Probably one of the top 5 scariest roads I've been on. Think narrow road going up a mountain side that barely 2 cars could pass, along side cliffs with no guard rails, oh and the road is periodically covered in ice and snow :-P But wow what a view of the Scenic Palouse Byway! This place was mesmerizing each way you looked. Sun was coming in one direction, while storm clouds were leaving in another.

Steptoe, and the Palouse's views are always good, no matter the season. That second shot is very nice. You described the winding road very well but you forgot to mention the potholes big enough to damage a tire or propel a car off the road entirely. Or did they fix those recently?

Haha yeah there were definitely some, but not that terrible! They mustve fixed a bit at some point. But yeah, very cool place!

Moonlight Over Red Rocks

The full moon provided some nice light on this winter landscape at Red Rocks. Wispy clouds zoom by during each of my approximately 90 second exposure. 3 image focus stacked.
