It appears to be quite similar to the Sora Rail that we have over here in America. . They are rather prevalent, but seldom seen, due to their tendency to skulk in thick vegetation. . It's great that you were able to get such a good clear shot of your Crake out in the open where you could get a clear view of the entire bird.
