Not many people might find this interesting, but I sure as heck do. It's rare to see any of these cars without rust holes in them.....but three in one driveway!? Like a step back in time. Haha.

Those folks are constantly rinsing off the winter road salt, keeping the rust at bay. My brother had a Chevy Vega hatchback in the early '80s - when he lived in N. Indiana, the car started to decay from the bottom. He moved to the S. Texas coast, driving it on the beach. There, autos tend to start rusting from the top down. By 1984, the little Vega body literally disintegrated!

Yeah, they do that here after a couple years, lol. My dad bought a brand new Ram in 2010, and it had rust on the fenders off the dealership lot!

I hope he got a discount for that?

Makes me remember life on King Island, a small island off Tasmania.
A not too old Holden was an absolute rust bucket.
Parts of the bumper bar were just thin chrome plating, no iron left.
One old cockie (farmer) had an ancient Jag, the type with long sweeping front fenders with huge search lights attached.
It seemed to be fairing very well.
I wish I'd photos of both but that was in 35mm SLR days and slides
