My son acquired this 90's era Montgomery Wards Garden Mark Squire tractor mostly as a yard ornament although he said it could run with a little work and universal lubricant (aka money) He's a mechanic so he should know. He might fix it someday if he has a use for it that would make the repairs worth it...

Yep . . . Strange, isn't it?

If you haven't already, you need to find an antique engine and tractor show to attend in your area this summer. Lot's of interesting old technology and plenty of photo ops. The attendees tend to be a pretty laid-back bunch and are usually easy to strike up a conversation with. And there tends to be a lot of good food available too! ;-)a

My tractor, today. Kioti DK40SE. Mowed with it this morning, will do a bunch of loader work tomorrow. It is just plain fun.
