Here you folks are talking about losing weight...In the mean time the Governor of California has directed that all of us old folks must stay at home and self-isolate.

My wife got bored, so she baked some fresh bread and a pie.

I got bored too...the pie is unlikely to last very long. :p

I need to bake a bread today. Also need to order some flours, all local stores don't have it.

Gah..... I need to lose 15lbs in 4 months. Motivation... getting in an F16. The general likes to smack my fat belly and say "we can get you there".

Meanwhile.... all I see are donuts

I'm doing keto now and i went from 199lbs to 183lbs in 45 days. just get rid of sugar and carbs. no exercise at all.

I’ve done keto a few times now and it works every time and I find it easy. I was planning on going back on it this week but couldn’t because there’s no meat in the shops right now!

Looks like its out of my grandmother and mothers kitchen.. Great to wake up in the morning to the smell of freshly baked bread and rolls.
Lemon meringue is a favorite, save me a piece, I'll be over shortly ;-)a;-)a;-)a

I've lived in the Vancouver area my entire life. The city of Richmond is minutes away. I've walked by the Britannia Heritage Shipyard National Historic Site. First time I've had the opportunity to walk in.......

Spring break I wanted to venture outdoors and wanted "space" due to the Pandemic.

I lugged my Sigma 24-70 f/2.8 ART and "tiny" 105 f/1.4 :P

I will say I prefer the render from this lens vs my Gmaster 16-35 and 70-200!

This is a photo of the Britannia shipyard and my jaw dropped in how they've replicated this oldschool feel when you walk in. I wish I had my GMaster 16-35 in this case but I do love using 24mm wide with the Sigma zoom. The colours and render is very different to the Tammy 28-75mm.

Over 17,000 Chinese came to Canada from 1881 through 1884. After many died many remaining had little option or money to go back to China.

The Cannery was one of the jobs that provided work. I viewed the actual buildings that they resided. The historic site was amazing. They had basic living quarters with an extremely high number of people in a small living space.

Next post will display the bunk beds....

The Britannia Historic site is really an amazing opportunity to see a tiny snapshot of the area.

I'll need to make my way there again with my girls. They close doors at 5pm....... so little time for us to explore!!

That look sooo yummy! My partner and I along with my daughter are all working from home now and I purposely went out and bought 10kg of flour because she wants to start baking again during her breaks.

I like this pair if images the most of the lot. Not sure whether that's just visually or because it's a more 'personal' content in them?

Great place to visit regardless.

The Manager's quarters at the "Cannery". The render from the 105mm is truly different from any 85mm I've ever used.

Bummer, we just got shelter in place for next 3 weeks. Was hoping to do a model shoot in the next few days as rain is finally over.

OK, I need help with video on my a7iii. My art classes have been cancelled and I was about to record a bunch of videos for my students and everything seemed fine until I wanted to open them on my PC running Windows 10. Playback in camera was perfect but I can't open anything on my PC. Admittedly, I'm a complete dummy when it comes to video.
So, how do I open them? Thanks.
