yeah the bike trails near our place, the parking lot was packed...way more than usual...doesn't help that it is the first really nice weekend of the year. You are nutz on the planking though...I would fold in half the wrong way...

The number of people I've seen walking up the trails behind my house the last two days is off the hook. We went out to surprise valley to get away from people and it worked. After the hike we drove into the Home Depot parking lot and there were so many people there we bailed on going in. Home projects can wait.

before too long it will not be allowed to go out...I had a couple necessary errands today..our scanner died and that is how we turn in the school work...and needed to restock a few groceries...not panic buying, just standard stocking.

Our one sunset at Zabriskie...the clear skies meant focusing on the textures of the foreground.

Kids wanted mac&cheese but had no cheddar cheese and call me whatever, I am not going out to the grocery store. Ended up making mac&cheese with some colby jack and mozzarella cheese. Wife had some split peas so used them to make the split pea soup. Wish I had the ham hocks.

Final shot. I need to get strobes with the modeling lights. Without those it is hard to know what is happening with reflections. I couldn't figure out what was in the spoon, only now I found that it is the ceiling fan.

I have the AD400 and it has a modeling light... it super bright. Would be more than enough shooting indoors like that.

I now have two Godox SL-60W LED Video Light heads that I use for 'product' type shots. They are cheap at $139 each and are daylight balanced (56K) so I either set up a custom white balance to that or am sure to set that in Adobe's camera raw editor (ACR). It's so nice to be able to see what's going on as I move lights, reflectors, etc. These are less expensive lights because they run off AC power only, no batteries which is fine for my purposes.

One benefit of traveling with multiple cameras is that while one is doing something...you can grab another and multi-task. I was waiting on the a7r2 to do a long exposure that crashed and burned...and grabbed another camera and was looking for details in the mud cracks...gonna be editing all the smaller scenes and details this week...

Personally 43mp in a camera, especially a crop one, almost worries me. Seems to me that would just make it harder to handhold and get consistently good results.

What I'm really hoping for is that Sony goes for a completely new design for their crop cameras than what we currently have, go more in the direction of the Nikon Z50 or Canon M50.

Due tell, as I never researched either. Whats so good about Nikon Z50 or Canon M50 than to offer more mpx & reach for crop ability in sports and wildlife shooting.

I don't use the CV21 very often. But I needed it here! This was a tight space!

i agree. A joystick please. they call the A6600 an APS-C flagship and don't have a simple joystick. every flagship i know have joystick like the Canon 7D.
