Archibald, this is fabulous, you absolutely done the right thing not to crop in to this bird. The placing/location and situation enables you to imagine more so the environment and special moment you experienced. I tend to crop in tightly but that is mostly because to cut out unwanted obstacles and branches and I don't often get the opportunity to come across moments as this. Well done indeed a very pleasing capture!
