We aren't under a stay at home order but we are not going anywhere unless we really need to.

Our Indiana Governor just issued the expected "stay at home" order, so here's a peek at the top shelf of my curio cabinet.
As you can probably tell, I'm a mineral buff. ;-)a

That is really a gorgeous collection of minerals, you have on display.

Like you, we also have a "stay in jail order":-) here in California also. My wife and I are old folks so we take it pretty seriously. I do admit to getting out and doing some photography in areas near my home where people are not around. I'm always able to distance myself from others, so I don't feel like there is any risk to me or others. However, today she and I went grocery shopping (out of necessity), and that is a bit crazy. Many of the younger generaation folks just don't seem to worry about the distancing rules, and I can tell ya...my wife and I were glad to get out of there.

Thanks, Mike. I need to start putting labels on the minerals, as I'm getting old enough that the names are starting to escape me .... but they're still pleasant to look at.

Like you and your wife, my wife and I are also older. I have enough hobbies that staying home hasn't been too difficult (yet).
We have a daughter and son-in-law who live in Los Angeles. I think that you California folks have it even worse than us.
Best wishes to you !

Love it ! :)

I can see why there isn’t any quilted TP in store, but don’t explain why I can’t find the Scott brand, septic safe stuff!! Ha!

Stay safe everyone.

Still Life photo project. I shot this today in our kitchen. The aloe in the background is about 30 years old and was in my office until a few weeks ago when we were ordered to work from home. The math project, the Traveling Salesman Problem, is a hobby I've been working since 2007 or 2008. Yes, I love math. Enjoy!

I sometimes choose an object to focus upon, when starting my daily meditation.
This object has taken me on many journeys.

The current answer to the traveling salesman problem is the salesman does not travel because of quarantine.

I need to try more of this. Currently, my meditation practices are with my eyes closed.

The bright planet Venus passing by the open star cluster of the 7 Sisters (Pleiades) from my back garden in Brisbane last night.

The mosquitos were voracious....:-(

Cheers
